There seems to be a small rebound now, perhaps shorts covering a bit before continuing

I feel for UK and I fear break-up of UK is near with the next Scottish Referendum already and again brought up by SNP. This time, Scots will vote to leave, I am quite certain..

Scots wants to long pang on UK to enter EU...
Hi OPMI,

Thanks for the link - i been following this quite closely and have also posted about the result a few hours earlier Smile

Sorry, should have been more specific. I meant that the Scots will vote to leave UK in the next scottish referendum. SNP has and I feel, bring this up again.

scots may get cold feet later if everybody starts leaving.

or

Scotland assuming they can get independence next question is how good is that economy can it meet EU membership criteria of an already functioning economy? They may export a lot of things now but they don't have bills to pay like defense usually comprise 2-3% of annual GDP.

yeah scots may leave, their oil based economy not doing so well nowadays.

Bigger problem is what happens in the EU and possible breakdown, already many cracks in EU. Probably wake up call for ECB. Will greece not have to pay back ECB if the EU and ECB is broken up???

Looks like an unexpected complication for Lee Ka-shing's investment into UK. London property very likely crash now, maybe 50%? Imagine your property there is overnight worth less >10% liao from pound devaluation. And if you borrowed in pounds to buy, your interest payments just increased 10% LOL. Guocoleisure gonna take a big hit to share price. Which other counter in SGX is exposed to UK property market?
