Noble Group hunts investor as profit seen up to two years away

SINGAPORE (Sept 19): Noble Group Ltd. is still seeking a strategic investor as the founder and chairman of the embattled Asian commodities trader says it will take as much as two years for a return to profit.

“A strategic partner is still very possible,” Richard Elman, who is due to stand down as executive chairman by June, said in an interview at the company’s headquarters in Hong Kong. “But it has to be at the right time and the right candidate.”

It should be SSH, rather than insider. My apology. I write it, while doing regular check on the insider trades via shareinvestor.com. Mind and hand out-of-sync.

Read the iceberg articles then look at the quarterly. Look at what has happened to Noble the past year with the impairments, resignation of CEO, the rights issue and sale of some good assets.

Any investor bother to follow the events and has a bit of logic should be able to put 2 and 2 together and form a conclusion.

Mine is a high probability of Kaput (yes by kaput i mean end up like Swiber), you may of course form your own conclusion ;D
