hi guys, just like to check, for those invested in Olam6.75%b180129 US$, have you received the proceeds from the redemption?
Yes I have
making lots of profit from 2009 till now, but never generate free cash flow, so when will the profit convert to cash

or maybe the profit will never generate to cash, that is why the income have been dropping so much recently, to signal the profit will not materialize?
Interestingly, Orbis Funds has increased their stake in Olam and has a 8% stake now.

Temasek offered to be major shareholder but has no real intention of delisting it.

Olam will probably see much better days but when, I don't know. Hope to sell it off during the next commodity supercycle.

[SINGAPORE] Agri-trader Olam International, majority owned by Singapore state investor Temasek, is set to announce a strategic partnership with a Japanese peer, people familiar with the matter said on Thursday after Olam halted trading of its stock.

Singapore-based Olam has held talks with Mitsubishi Corp and Mitsui & Co to form a joint venture and use the Japanese firms' global reach, said the people, who declined to be identified as discussions were private. The talks included one of the Japanese firms investing in Olam, they said.

Olam and Temasek Holdings declined to comment. Mitsubishi and Mitsui declined to provide immediate comment.
