If I bring a $10,000 Apple watch to ValueMax or any of the pawn shop, will they accept it?
Yes they will accept. Becos the high end one Apple has said it is gold plated. But maybe the pawn shop will offer you $1,000 for the $10,000 Apple watch

Most people when buying a "Luxury" watch will go for ROLEX or any brand that have consistent resell values.
I remember my wife upgraded her ROLEX twice already. Each time she had good resale value. No trade in hoh. She can't tolerate the idea of wearing some unknown wearer watch. She rather have a new one or none.
For me maybe cheapskate, I will go for a pre-own ROLEX for " money for value" after vested by ROLEX service centre. Alas till today, I can't bring myself to buy one. In fact after I can use HP as a watch too, I don't wear any watch.
For me I can't wear anything on my body for long except my clothing. i will find the thing very irritating after a while on my body.
So if you see me anywhere, you will think I am a poor old-man who has nothing. It's O K I am always like that.

Seriously, I doubt pawnshops will accept Apple watch. From a newspaper article I read recently, I think it mentioned that they don't take electronics items, luxury or not.
I will stick to authentic branded watches if I ever want to do business with pawnshops.

Uncle Temp, For a watch, you should buy something you really like, regardless of brand. Then wear it daily. It would leave a legacy in memory of u.Your children and grandsons will remember it.
I inherited a rolex precision 6694 from my grandfather.Although it cost abt 2k currently but I value it more then my most exp watch. It is full of hairline scratch yet i do not want rolex scv ctr to polish it when i brought it for servicing. It became a heirloom.

Heirloom has sentimental values that can not be measured in monetary terms only. It is measured in the tapestry of life of living and fond memories of the departed. Yes indeed it treasured in fond memories of the past. What's life without sweet memories?
Good set of numbers. Unfortunately no script dividend this round again.
