ah, sorry, i made an inaccurate comment on K1 investments in Guggenheim. Thanks v much for the clarification!

I think at AGM, their PR answer will be "K1 alr paid $108m out as dividends for this year, an increase of 69% from the preceding year's $64m as dividends". Thus, evidence we re-distribute as much as we can back to shareholders.

But I reckon its also shareholders right to "register their points across", rather than remain on the silent sidelines. If K1 opted to "retain part of these sale proceeds, i think the next qn to raise it, wat they intend to do with the moolah then". Food for thought - happy Friday folks!

hey specuvestor, wats this "GO Fiasco".. Can enlighten me mah. Thanks guys.

Probably just to retain the bullet for next year distribution so that it doesn't look so bumpy...
∆ then should not pay out 5 cents in the first place. If they are looking for smooth div payments

FYI. There is a small Guggenheim fund that was distributed out of KU

They could have paid out more from their outstanding 70.6m cash but... Pretty hard to say they withheld the investment proceeds post the GO fiasco

To fast track the Guggenheim investment?
oic that's on a book closing basis, but on a cashflow basis it is $151.6m see section 5

BTW RE of Holdco is only left with $6.5m so any further significant payouts (ex other disposals) have to be capital in nature
