I apologised because I'm quite sure that this whole discussion started over my question to ghchua on whether shares acquired through the open market also counts towards the '90% level' for compulsory acquisition. I feel like the fellow who throw the first stone and ran away when the riot take place. And honesty much of the debate is lost on me; though I do appreciate the depth and discussion on the issue.

Is it possible that the 90% threshold may not be achieved for delisting to proceed? No? Afterall, even if this is the final offer price, investors may not bite. I am one of those few who are not biting. History has shown the wisdom of not biting albeit it is backward looking.
