Huawei Cloud Philippines Celebrates Success and Partnerships at Partner Appreciation Night 2023

MANILA, Philippines, Sept. 13, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei Cloud Philippines hosted an exclusive evening of celebration, inspiration, and connection with its valued partners at The Peninsula Manila's Rigodon Ballroom on September 6, 2023.

Huawei Cloud has been at the forefront of the cloud revolution, particularly in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. With the slogan "Go Together, Grow Together," Huawei Cloud Philippines' Partner Appreciation Night 2023 underscored the collective success of the company and its partners, as they set the stage for even greater achievements.

Sylvia Wang, Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Cloud Philippines, kicked off the event by extending her personal gratitude to the company's partners. In Huawei's 21-year presence in the country, Sylvia Wang proudly noted the remarkable progress. Over the past three years, Huawei Cloud has experienced substantial growth, thanks to fruitful collaborations with various companies.

Sylvia Wang stated, "These milestones and achievements are a testament not only to Huawei but also to our partners' continuous trust and unwavering support. We now have over 100 local solution providers and have witnessed over a 50% year-on-year growth in software partners in the Philippines."

Celebrating Milestones:

As part of the celebration, Nicole Lu, Huawei Cloud APAC Vice President for Partner Development, shared insights into Huawei Cloud partner development, highlighting the remarkable progress made in the APAC region and what the future holds for partners. She emphasizes that Huawei Cloud will look to empower partners on by helping them develop competencies and offering dedicated professional support throughout the joint selling lifecycle.

Luik Lu, Director of Software Partner Development, Huawei Cloud APAC also shares that Huawei Cloud will provide extra benefits and incentives to empower our partners in successfully conducting their global endeavors.

Huawei Cloud Developer Program:

Wen Ran, Huawei Cloud's Global Regional Partner Development Manager for the Ecosystem Competency Center, introduced the opportunities and resources available through the Huawei Cloud Developer program. The program is divided into three groups: enterprises, universities, and individuals, offering training, technical assistance, and marketing support for those aspiring to learn technologies like artificial intelligence, cloud native, big data, the Internet of Things, and more.

Shared Milestones:

Huawei Cloud also reflected on the milestones achieved with its partners over the past year. Andy Jin Hui, Huawei Cloud APAC Vice President and Head of Marketing and Industry Development, provided an overview of successful events in the past year.

Andy also invited event attendees to join Huawei's upcoming event, "Huawei Connect 2023: A Technological Feast Unlocking the Intelligent Era," happening in Shanghai, China, from September 20 to 22.

Recognition Awards:

At the heart of the event were recognition awards, as Huawei Cloud honored five remarkable partners whose pivotal roles and invaluable contributions propelled their shared success.

During the award ceremony, APPTechnology Experts received the SAP Excellence Award, Pinnacle Technologies. was named the Innovative Software Collaborator, Infocentric Solutions was awarded the Service Excellence Partner title, and Total Information Management Corporation was hailed as the Strategic Alliance Star. bneXt also stood out as the recipient of the Outstanding Revenue Achiever 2023 award.

Three partners—bneXt, Infocentric Solutions, and StrategicSynergy —were also given certifications for passing the service partner program and completing their role while achieving service partner standards.

Aside from these awards, partners and guests enjoyed raffle prizes, specially curated food, and a performance by local acoustic band MYMP (Make Your Momma Proud).
