Purchase was done donkey years ago.... based on some analyst report. No further action was taken since vested qty is small.

My guess is loss aversion at work? (with the additional fear of regret) If we care to go online to find the best deal for a hotel or flight, trying to squeeze some dollars away. Surely a small vested qty does matter to get the cold hard cash, of what you can have.

If the minorities refuse to sell , they can continue to be the pain in the neck of the controlling shareholders .

In theory yes if your objective is to be a nuisance; but if your objective is to get a better offer, you have to coordinate with the other 10%+ OPMI to make right noise right time, and ultimately proof oppression of minority.
