What has been covered in this thread thus far reminds me of the story, "The Emperor's New Clothes".

Unfortunately when one little boy tried to speak of the charades behind the related party transactions and artificial propping up of valuations, he was taken down by the townsfolk.

Considering the similarity of my education and work background to them, perhaps it is good to follow the path of these NTU graduates and former public servant to make clothes.

Term Sheet for option to sell 8VIC Global Pte Limited and acquisition of substantial interest in Digimatic Group Ltd.

Wonder if it is another piece of financial engineering in the making....My knowledge is too elementary to understand all this transaction.

Best to keep clear of this stock for now.

After reading the Term Sheet above, the mid-passage should be of interest:

"8VIC Global will not proceed with the proposed listing on SGX-ST Catalist as
mentioned in the announcement dated 15 May 2017."

Just wondering why not? Is it they can't get the green light from SGX?

Doubt thats the reason... SGX will love to have IPO. They need listings.

Actually It's 8VIC that will be under DMC... and DMC now is under 8IH control and umbrella.

8VIC to provide the strong cash flow needed and synergy since DMC does events and marketing?

Hi Ctw101, looking at the previous responses on this thread, you could probably guess that most of the valuebuddies here are on the lookout for value stocks and have little interest in 8i. I don't think you will get a response to this question. You might have better luck privately messaging the blogger who wrote about 8i seeing that he seems to be more up to date on developments there. The link is available on some posts on page 3 of this thread.
