Normally it is the younger brother who will visit the bigger brother. This is a real interesting situation where the Chairman of Huiyuan visited Mr Huang at Sino G' s HQ in Shenzhen.  http://t.cn/RUE43puHuiyuan Chairman has been in this trade for a number of years and should have the means to establish the credential of Huang/Sino G.

During the 2nd quarter result briefing, Huang mentioned that he has a meeting with the daughter of the Chairman of Huiyuan. No one believed him then, everyone thought he was lying ...probably   after newman9's report and all the BS stories (from who else), some shareholders started to believe crap.

Would a national brand company of China visit a fake company? Lol.   Before this, a Taiwanese   F& B company, AGV, visited Sino upon recommendation by CB2 holder. http://www.hngawj.net/xianluyuan528/2070...3ffab.html

Looks like Sino is getting a lot of   interest. Nestle comes next ???!!! Big China banks coming ????!!!!

Note :  Several years ago, Coca cola wanted to take over Huiyuan but the deal was called off   by CN gov becoz Huiyuan is a national brand.

Thank you.

This news is important.

Huiyuan has been in China for more than 20 years, and should be able to find out from its distributors whether Garden Fresh is real or not.

This visit has allayed concerns about Garden Fresh being a fake.

Whether Huiyuan and Garden Fresh has worked out deals to cooperate is unimportant.  Big Grin

Huiyuan is asset-heavy. Its PPE and land use rights sum to RMB 7.2 billion, against sales below RMB 5 billion.

According to some accounts, Huiyuan stepped up PPE building, as Coca Cola was planning to bottle coke in Huiyuan's extensive network of factories, on successful acquisition of Huiyuan. Acquisition of Huiyuan would also forestall unnecessary price wars between Coca-Cola's Minute Maid orange juice and Huiyuan's.

(Coca-Cola's planned acquisition fell through subsequently.)

On 18 June 2015, Huiyuan announced the arrangement to sell one of its subsidiaries for RMB1.8 billion, to enhance overall profitability, optimize capital structure, increase cash reserves, reduce fixed costs, and improve debt structure and reduce debt ratio.

Huiyuan also indicated intention to transform its existing core plants into smart and intelligent plants with increased production and reduced consumption, and greatly enhance equipment utilization and operational efficiency.

On 20 March 2014, Suntory announced the formation of a joint venture with Huiyuan as follows:

"This development is the result of the shared intention of the two companies to expand sales of Suntory brand beverage products throughout all areas of mainland China (excluding Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions).......
In addition, to promote the expansion of the Suntory brand in all regions of China, Suntory is joining forces with Huiyuan Juice that has a strong foothold throughout China to build a new supply system for Suntory brand products. To achieve this, the rights to Suntory (Shanghai) Foods Co., Ltd., a beverage manufacturing company under Suntory China, will be transferred to Huiyuan Juice and Suntory will acquire a portion of shares in Huiyuan Juice, building a firm and comprehensive alliance between the two companies."

Huiyuan issued US$ 150m bonds to Temasek Holdings in March 2014.
Interest expense on the convertible bonds, change in fair value of embedded derivatives of the convertible bonds, exchange gain/(loss) relating to the convertible bonds resulted in Huiyuan reporting an accounting loss of RMB 97m in the first half of 2015. If these items were excluded, the adjusted profit is RMB 73m.

Esoteric accounting treatment of convertible bonds has hit Huiyuan as well as Sino Grandness.

Huiyuan and Sino Grandness are business rivals.

Why should they collaborate?

What does Huiyuan stand to gain?
