Kind of disappointed with the 4th IP. Less than a year ago they were saying that they would choose carefully who/what to work with based on 2 criteria:

1. the movie must have grossed in excess of US$1 billion
2. there must be sequels in the works

None of The Hunger Games movies hit the 1 billion number (the closest was the 2nd movie, which grossed <900 mil worldwide, but that was released way back in 2013), and both the the books and movies ended years ago.

The only way this move makes sense is if Lionsgate reboots the series (unlikely, since the movies are relatively recent), or if they come up with new stories set in the same universe, like how Fantastic Beasts expands on Harry Potter.

Amazing, 7-bagger in 3 years.

CITYNEON: Farewell to stock that was a 7-bagger in 3 years

Cityneon Holdings' stock trading has been suspended from last Thursday (10 Jan), and will in due course be delisted following a successful privatisation offer.

It's a thrilling finish in the sense that the stock has surged an astonishing 7X in the 3 years following Cityneon's acquisition of a new business -- Victory Hill Exhibitions Pte. Ltd -- at end-Sept 2015.

The stock then was around 17 cents.

In Oct 2018, an offer to privatise Cityneon was made by its executive chairman, Ron Tan, and a HK entrepreneur, Johnson Ko Chun Shun, at $1.30 a share.
