Hi dividends knight any lesson on how u handle the rights issue since you have large percentage of your portfolio in reits

I have some funds earmarked for investments. If the REIT provides compelling reasons for the rights issue (yield-accretive acquisitions and AEI), I will then deploy these funds to subscribe to the rights.

Having said that, the REITs in my portfolio have not done many rights issue over the past few years. In fact, I have not experienced any rights issue yet. Private placement, yes.

Thanks dividends knight for the reply , guess getting vested in low gearing reits would reduce the possibility of a rights issue.
