SINGAPORE - Frasers Centrepoint Malls has announced a 90 per cent committed occupancy at Waterway Point mall in Punggol six months ahead of its expected opening. The Terrace EC (executive condo) and Waterwoods EC residents will have enjoy greater convenience and choices of food and shopping with its grand opening.

Waterway Point is part of Watertown, an integrated waterfront residential and retail development developed by Frasers, Far East Organisation and Sekisui House.

The 370,824 sq ft retail and lifestyle hub will integrate four levels of indoor shopping, leisure and al fresco dining spaces with waterfront views.

Around 43 per cent of mall tenants will be from the retail sector, 30 per cent will be from the F&B sector, and 15 per cent will be from the lifestyle and entertainment sector, the company said in a release on Tuesday.

These will include over 150 fashion labels and specialty stores, entertainment and enrichment facilities, thematic casual dining concepts, wellness services, as well as day-to-day amenities, Frasers Centerpoint said.

"Once underserved, Punggol today is a picture of rapid development. Its rejuvenation has begun to draw in a new demographic of urban dwellers as reflected in the diverse mix of tenants Waterway Point is attracting," Frasers Centrepoint chief executive officer, commercial & greater China, Christopher Tang said in a statement.
