prices have dropped by a fair bit from highs. any buddies sold already? I'm holding on and will slowly accumulate if drop further. looking forward to quarterly report.

Gold had been falling since past week and this one is following too...

yeah and a bit of speculation in my following statement. the political landscape is getting riskier as compared to few years ago and also increasing need for central banks to print money or lower interest rates. So there is a higher chance of gold being valued and act as hedging against other investments.

Gold is still an asset class for some investors. So demand is always there.
As long as CNMC management is trustworthy and their low all in cost can be believed, their business model is viable even if gold prices fluctuate.
Only can make more or less.
I feel the real threat or risk is untrue or poor accounting method used to deceive investors...as in the case of liongold.

yup which is why dividend cannot be ignored for this company to prove existence of cashflow. Even rights issue will be a red flag for me. Anw the above statement exists for all companies in the world not just unique to CNMC.

seriously if they didn't want to release news today why trading halt since yesterday. unless someone wanna takeover the whole company and prevent ppl from accumulating. if it is a takeover I will be very sad. another good company in sgx gone.

operations mining halt pending review of expansion of operations or something. Not sure why they need to halt all operations for the review to take place.
