It is really absurd to see that people in HK are waiting >7 years for a public housing. I recently read that the HK govt has just started to increase the supply of their public housing in 2013. It will probably take at least 3 more years to solve the supply issue.

Singaporeans as compared to their fellow counterparts in HK are considered lucky in a sense.

Public housing , Spore is one of the best if not the best.
