Hi,

I am thinking of getting an early stage critical illness policy.

I was comparing aviva's living care plus (SAF Group policy) with ge's early payout criticalcare plan and also pru's pruearly stage crisis cover.

The price of aviva's seem to cheap to be true, my guess is the benefits covered may be different. Anyone has any experience in this area? Or any links for easy comparision?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have looked into early stage CI policies before but I personally think they are expensive and not worth it. In addition, you don't get full payout but progressive payout (according to your stage).

I rather throw the money into a comprehensive hospitalisatoin plan.

How much is your coverage vs premium?

the aviva saf (group) one is 20/mth for 200k sum assured
the ge one is 89/mth for 150k sum assured
the pru one is 66/mth for 100k sum assured

but i believe the aviva saf one is less comprehensive than ge and pru

is it term or whole life?
sounds too cheap to be WL plan.
if term, is the premium guaranteed fixed or will increase as you age?

all are term

if i am not wrong, the premium is fixed for pru and ge but changes for aviva's

until what age?

About $800 per annum for 100k coverage. doesn't look cheap.
what about premium for normal CI?
