‘Realistic’ bids for Upper Paya Lebar Road site
SINGAPORE — The tender for a private housing site in Upper Paya Lebar Road attracted healthy but realistic bids, said analysts, adding that they see it as a sign that developers are taking into account the increasingly cautious sentiment among buyers.
The first private land tender of the year drew seven bids, with UOL Overseas Investments placing the highest at S$392.3 million, according to data from the Urban Redevelopment Authority yesterday. This translates into about S$648 per square foot per plot ratio (psf ppr).
