Quite often , i came across such reporting which I felt rather mysterious ;
In announcement of SGX today , majority shareholder Wee EE Chao bought 19,457,000 shares ( about 1 % ) of Yanlord on 07/01/2014, and crossed his holding to more than 6%. I checked the total transacted volume of Yanlord on that day , it was only 1,269,000 shares.
Where were the extra quantity came from ? Why it was not shown on transacted quantity of SGX on 07/01/2014. Even we add up the total transacted quantity for the pass 20 trading days , total volume was not even more than 15m.
Hope some Buddies here can help to enlighten, thanks.

It is accumulative. He doesnt have to report his daily purchase until his shareholdings increase by another percentage point I believe.
