Seeking Truth From Facts in the Housing Debate

Please refer to attached article.

So MBT is saying that there's no easy way, and he says there is a property class catered for each income level. But they are still expensive compared to the HPI and DSR of the average worker who earns a median salary of S$2,700 per month.

Also, no one truly "öwns" their HDB flat. At most it's a long-term rental. The Govt can just take it back from you anytime when they want to redevelop the area. Best to get freehold instead of a 99-year tenure property (I am speaking for myself too as I too "öwn" an HDB)!

Looking for honest opinions. What is your opinion on the article?

The article does not seem to have very clear data to say this is why it is the way it is. A lot of it persuasion and a lot of what if?

Am I correct to think that ? Anyone felt that same way?

The Yishun riverwalk 4 room = 240,000 but new Yishun Green 4 room = 280,000 . Do they choose to show the cheaper version?

I'm not enlightened as I thought I will be.
