Finally, there is some good news coming out of General Magentcis. Though interim dividend of only 0.3 cents per ordinary share, at least it bring some cheers to the long suffering shareholders Smile Smile. Hopefully, there will be more attractive final dividend coming soon Smile Smile.

A positive gesture by the management....at least they are not keeping all the money for themselves......hope that they could go further and sell the building and distribute everything....there is a definite timespan for the building so if the price is good, the mgmt should sell it.......

Some of you might have received a CD containing annual report of General Magnetics Ltd 2012 by now.

NTA for FY2012 is $0.148 compared to $0.132 for FY2011. Profit of $1.88m compared to $4.5m loss the previous year. Profit of $1.88m for FY2012 mainly due to disposal gain of $1.87m.

Pls take note of page 29. The General Magnetics Building's net carrying value is $3,915,895 but the fair value is $20m. So NTA of the company is actually much higher than $0.148 reported

BTW why cannot Phillip Secs use their startup platform to trade delisted shares?

I think it is held at 4pm on 29 June. Don't think that there will be an offer. The general manager has made an offer of 4 cent last time.
