It's an investible developer with good fee income gone. Kep Corp probably see the need Kepland's earnings to tide over the lean years of O&G...

wonder which undervalued developer is next??
Besides the cheapness, there is also the QC issue with unsold inventory.

Would the powerful Lippo make a move on OUE?
Or Wheelock HK close in on Wheelock here?

No wonder OUE and Wheelock price shoot up today.

ya. Given Kep Corp is paying close to the NAV for Kep Land, OUE and Wheelock are potentially still cheap.

Good strategy! Big Grin

Just direct buy and take over! figure europe QE funds will be coming in too for bargain huntings! Big Grin

developers trading undervalue, watch out for outright take over! Big Grin
1) Try NOT to LOSE money!
2) Do NOT SELL in BEAR, BUY-BUY-BUY! invest in managements/companies that does the same!
3) CASH in hand is KING in BEAR!
4) In BULL, SELL-SELL-SELL!

My two cents worth would be that it is not likely.

Keppel Corp has cash, investing now in low oil price environment does not make sense for them. So, buying out Keppel Land at 4.4-4.6 makes sense, because Keppel Land is likely to be worth $5-7.

That would not be the case for OUE, Wheelock.

At most, I am handing out an educated guess as to what the markets may do.

The market will always find a new way to make a fool out of me (and maybe, even you!).

Even the best strategies of the past fail, sometimes spectacularly, when you least expect it.

I am not immune to that, so please understand that any past success of mine will probably be followed by failures
