The aggregate leverage ratio of Keppel REIT on a pro forma basis (based on Keppel REIT’s unaudited financial results as at 30 June 2013) will be reduced from approximately 44.2% to approximately 43.9%.
I was initially speculating a major rights issue exercise was going to take place with the trading halt especially with Keppel Corp paring down its stake via dividend in species to its shareholders. Guess I was wrong. The small discount to current market price is favourable to current unit-holders. They say the M&A will still be DPU accretive.

Temasek sells stake in K-REIT for $125 mil
Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings has sold its entire direct stake in property firm Keppel Reit (K-REIT) for around $125 million, the Business Times reported.
Temasek’s share sale works out to be a stake of 3.74% in the property firm which it had received as part of a dividend distribution from Keppel Corp, the paper said citing sources.

Yesterday's sell down is due to Temasek?
No wonder the volume went up so much. I was wondering what's going on.

Most REITs should have already found their bottom. Keppel Reit is on my watchlist but not vested as my allocation for Reits is already maxed. Holding FCOT for commercial exposure.

The financing for the 50% A$ 165m Perth project is not revealed yet. Right issue or share placement ?

get money before the windows closed. both for REIT IPOs and old REIT rights/placement.
Thats why I feel that 'Asian Blackstone' wannabe is behind the curve on the REIT thing.
