Net cash of $0.094 vs price of $0.104!! Technically paying only $0.01 for a profitable business and the property held by Avi-Tech.

Agreed 4Q EPS not that impressive hence company gave a nice sweetener of $0.01 dividend in total (final + special). Hard to tell whether there is a slowdown for now but the CEO at least has the balls to give a very optimistic (in my view) outlook going forward.

One thing that irked me a bit is why is there a need to wait almost half a year to collect the special dividend??!! This counter will be trading cum dividend for a loooong time...

My figures :

looking under asset  cash 12.382m + FD 15.420m is 27.8m minus debt 1.615m would be ~26m net cash
divide by 342,422,096 shares = ~76cent a share.

You are probably using the numbers from NOTE A section which i find confusing, its probably for company and group, but the totals dun add up either.

so i just use those on the balance sheet under ASSET->Current Assets i think is more accurate. FD last quarter had 19m+ which means ~4m matured this quarter and they are taking it out to distribute Big Grin which is good, thought the boss gonna lock it up forever.

Yes they may be using some of the FD to pay the dividends so have to wait for maturity. but that is a weak reason if any. Previous years 2011 and before it was a March/Nov payout.

Another more skeptical explanation is that the boss wanna CUM for long time to prop up the share price so that someone else can have time to exit the stock. After all, many shareholders have purchase when Avitech was below 8 cents last year. Then after XD it will CD again for the interim dividend so share price will be maintained.

Will be selling for sure if it hit >$1.20 this time, the yield is already getting compressed and wont be sustainable going forwards.

Relentless buying by the CEO. Not counting the many purchases in 2014, just for 2015 alone: -

5 Jan: 310,000 @ $0.078 per share = $24,180
7 Jul: 500,200 @ $0.119 per share = $59,504
8 Jul: 499,800 @ $0.117 per share = $58,527
15 Sep: 800,000 @ $0.104 per share = $83,224

Will continue to monitor. Hopefully I can squeeze some time out to attend the AGM to get a clearer picture of prospects ahead.

Price has crept up from 0.21 level and been up with bouyant market sentiment, almost at fair value NAV of 26cents  liao.  Cool

boss buy in more this month at ~0.236 as well, wondering if this is long term accumulation for him or he is expecting to give more bonus dividends in the near future.

Looks like the time to divest and keep some free shares is approaching Big Grin
