I have been selling down my portfolio....started about 2 weeks ago. Most probably I will have sold everything within the next 2 weeks except my gold related holdings. Also reducing my gold portfolio to try to take advantage of trading opportunities. Trend is still up....I am very uncomfortable with the current economic situation...the rise in US 10 yield bond, the fall in US dollar index and the determination of China in standing against US ( Chairman Mao's video clips appeared on TV)...we probably will see a recession in the 2nd half of the year and if it happens, the current rally that we are seeing now is probably a bear rally, an opportunity to sell into it....

Thanks for sharing. I felt the uncomfortable uncertainty too and managed to raised quite a bit of cash too.

However, I do put some of the cash back into the stocks which I think offered good values.  Basically, most of the stocks that I sold were rather resilient either due to a lot of cash in the balance sheet or they are pending delist.  So, these 100 days of stock market movement does not impact them so much.  I just sold them and then re-invest into those stocks that sold down and hope to either sell them in short term if there is a V or W shape recovery, or hold them for long term.

Instead of buying individual stocks, I had also decided to go into China ETF too.  Just a bit to test out.

In general, I think holding cash is a fantastic ideas.
