Takeover code says max duration of Offer is 60 days from depatch of circular (not prospectus).

One friend was saying that if they up the offer price, those sold to them earlier will also entitle to the new offer price too. Is this correct? Anyone can verify this? THKS.

Yes. Entitled to price revision. See takeover code.

If I am the offeror, I would release a press statement to reiterate the no intention to
keep listing status. Then send the letter to all remaining shareholders to screw with their minds.

Will see more acceptance forms rolling in.

If never KP to the press at the start of offer, hard to reverse the momentum.

Announcement just made. No price increase. At least for this round. Will shareholders hold out for a better offer, if at all there is a next round of offer?

Game over liao. Those waiting for higher price increase (ESP those risk arbitrager) will throw to Offeror.
