As expected

IMHO should be within the 1st 5 year plan of the current admin ie by 2019, which is pretty fast by China's standard Smile But slow is good for such a big ship to turn, especially in terms of infrastructure, which Singapore is now learning the strains.

If you are able to lift the GDP per cap of the other 50% of the population to above US$3k a year (ie rough milestone for middle class income), China can continue to double her GDP to US$16t under this admin, and might even surpass US if RMB continues to appreciate steadily next 10 years.

BTW it was said that China GDP was largest in the world as recently as during the eight nation alliance invasion. Not unprecedented as some might think.
