Their problem is compounded by the exodus of the better educated and smarter citizens to other countries due to their bumiputra policies.With the current government policies, it is unlikely that there will be reversal of pro-bumiputra policies if UMNO is still in power.
It is quite likely that both the chinese and india population will continue to drop to a level that they will become even more inconsequential in the elections. So, going forward, it will be even more pro-bumiputra until there are no non-bumiputra left.
They have also dismantled the English education and allows vernacular schools to exist which also make integration of races hard.
All these are not irreversible but it sure will take at least 20-30 years to reverse it even if they start now.
