Thank you, Pianist, for truly an inspiring story... But sadly Singapore doctors are of a different class. 30 odd years doctors can afford ferraris, and we have one who charges more than $20 million for a few months of cancer treatment. Contrast this with my cardiologist friend in Australia who some months earn less than his nurse if he's working less hours (His hourly rate is $38 compared with his nurse of $35).
