Male Listener : Master, you hope that we can make it in our cultivation in this life and transcend beyond the Six Realms of Existence/Samsara. However, to make it through our cultivation is a tough endeavour. In our effort to be diligent in cultivation, we target to recite 1 self-reserved Little House, and a few other self-reserved Scriptures every day. We will also perform recitations with all our might, like there is no tomorrow. If these self-reserved Little Houses and Scriptures are offered when we leave this world, will this assure us that we will transcend beyond the Six Realms and reach Western Paradise and Four Noble Realms?
Master : Little House is not the most important. What is most important is a person's character. To succeed as a human, you will achieve Buddhahood. Do you understand? In the human realm, if you are already behaving like a Bodhisattva in all your undertakings and you are receiving commendations from everyone that “Wow, you are like a Living Bodhisattva”, “You are so kind hearted”, “You are such a good person”…. Tell me, don’t you think this person is a Bodhisattva on earth? (Yes, this is exactly what Master teaches, “If you succeed as human, you will achieve Buddhahood”). That’s right, if you are conducting yourself like a Bodhisattva in the human realm, it is beyond doubt that you will go to the place of Bodhisattvas in the future. (Yes, that is correct.)
