This mid-size USD5.0m BHS contract for Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (Terminal 3) is nonetheless a significant one as it is a repeat order, and a turnkey contract. It has raised Pteris' latest total order book to $132.0m, equivalent to approx. 15 months of normal work and business volume.

S&P's latest update report (dated 6Mar12) on Pteris Global makes interesting reading.....
http://research.sgx.com/reports/rpt_view.pl?id=6711

It is mentioned in the report that Pteris Global has carried out "a successful consolidation of manufacturing activities to Suzhou and Malaysia." That means the company is now not utilising fully its leasehold (30 years, expiring 31May2037, with option to renew for another 30 years) factory building (with a gross GFA of approx. 20,000 sq. m.) located at 28 Quality Road, Jurong; therefore, it can be sold to enable Pteris Global to redeploy the related funds for other purposes.

The Jurong factory was constructed in 2007/08 at a cost of approx. $17.0m.....
http://info.sgx.com/webcoranncatth.nsf/V...B003EC136/$file/NewFactory.pdf?openelement
, and was carried in the B/S at an estimated written down BV of $15.6m as at 31Dec11.

A relevant question: How much can the Jurong factory fetch in the current market should Pteris Global decide to dispose of it, and consolidate its remaining HQ operations in Singapore perhaps into the premises of newly acquired subsidiary AeroMobiles P/L located at 4 Tuas Ave 1? My own guess is that the Jurong factory could well fetch over $40.0m under the present market conditions.

Hi dydx,

I'm following the developments of this Company with interest. The acquisition of Aeromobiles seems a step in expanding its offerings. At around PE of 5x ($5m/$1 profit guarantee), certainly appears nice. Reading through the announcment, thought the of S&P in Aeromobiles excludes the premise?

This one used to be market darling, but seems to be falling on hard times. Also appears CFO position is still open. Did i miss any announcment?

Will go dig out more of my previous thoughts before discussing this further. But havent said that, I do like infrastructue development coys with global footprints.

Cheers
