Actually it's more a case on anti-establishment and far right nationalism that we are seeing across the globe, from Iceland to Greece to Scotland/ UK and now US
Singapore had a brush with anti-immigration, a form of nationalistic tilt, not long ago as well.

My guess is market gonna be abnormally quiet in October waiting for an abnormal US election
Everyone for themselves if Trump wins. A year ago I never even thought this is a plausible black swan event

Forgot to do a poll on this, but I think most VB were expecting a Hillary Win.
This has got to be the single most EXCITING event this year, much more fun to watch than BREXIT.
Presidential Election Live: Donald Trump Wins Ohion and Leads Hillary Clinton in Several Battleground States
Let the dust settle over next few days and its elephant hunting season again!!!
STI 2500 here we come
Are you guys buying , selling or holding?
i was also looking forward to this hunting season but it looks like it is over despite trump's win... more patience called for. If trump does something outrageous in the next few weeks, then that may set the market into turmoil again, otherwise it will be a big long wait again

In America, they believe in changes.
No one can be USA President for life.
No one can build a "Dynasty".

Looking forward for Donald Trump to fulfill his campaign promises. Lets see..
1. Build the Great Wall of Mexico and let Mexico pay for it.
2. Deport all 11 million undocumented immigrants.
3. Ban all Muslims from entering the country.

Likely to be a scale down version. I think maybe some sort of below possibility.
1. Co-payment or maybe "behind the scene" through some mechanics like taxes of trades coming in from Mexico etc
2. Deport criminal undocumented immigrants. The other need to be documented and pay taxes else out.
3. Ban migrants (not just muslim) from specific terror known countries

Empty rhetoric or not we will see. Don't think we have any choice. Let's hope he is more sensible. Else, I cant imagine the ramifications - not just the global economy.

@Wildreamz Lol looks like he is being more friendly to muslims now
Maybe he is grateful for those muslims that voted for him...
Donald Trump statement on banning Muslims from US has disappeared from his website
Maybe next thing he does is to apologize for his previous comments on women. After all he is president now, nothing to lose.
The wall will likely end up as a cheaper budget fence or maybe he can use those illegal immigrants to build the wall. theres millions of them anyway, should be built at lower cost using them.
Actually i am hoping he will join forces with Putin and carpet bomb the ISIS as he previously suggested. That would be kick-ass to watch.
