Mr. Salleh continue with his open market acquisition, the latest transactions were on 1st Aug and 31st Jul. His latest holding is 62.35%. He might continue till Sept, before the end year result announcement...

At this rate he is going, there may be something cooking within. Everything is red except this one. Maybe he got some properties near Paya lebar which can be redeveloped? The increase in population definitely benefit this counter.
Mr. Salleh continue to acquire from open market, the latest one was on 29 Aug, with 500 lots. The latest holding is 62.81%

The end-year result should be announced around early Oct, so the buying spree will cease in the next few days...

Initially from the title, I thought it is a significant profit reduction, but I am wrong, it was a significant profit increment due to asset re-valuation.

That explains the recent acquisitions from Mr. Salleh...Big Grin

if i rmb correctly, their 1st half result wasn't as good...wondering what exactly is the pushing factor for the substantial increase in their profit

The increment was from non-cash item i.e. fair value changes from its property value. It is clearly stated in the company announcement.
