can anyone share your opinion on whether the proposed acqusition is sensible. i heard the 2 properties have a short remaining lease-life of 15 years.
I believe that the HGB property lease titles can be extended for another 20 years (and so on) at extremely low cost.

I read from an investor's blog who has sent queries to FR earlier, and this was their reply. It was said that the cost is about a few S$k's and very likely that the lease can be renewed.

thanks for the link. i tried to redefine my question a few times but essentially First REIT has a very prompt IR. We can easily re-confirm a few thinks with their CFO Mr Tan.

need some advise here ...
dont have experience with rights before. so what do i do with the rights that i will receive? how do i exercise the rights and pay for them?

similarly, how do i apply for excess rights?
Go to the atm, its similar to ipo application, you can accept your rights and apply for excess at the same time for a $2 admin fee
if my shares are in cpf, the rights appear in cpf? or in cash account?

If your shares are in CPF, the rights will appear in CPF.
Based on my previous experience, you will have to go to the bank to apply the rights and have to pay extra transaction cost.Sad
