I believe there is huge value created for the tycoons. But I am not sure how they are ever able to cash out
Like that best lah... no worries since they have to work harder and keep working to eventually unlock what they have created.

As long as there is real value no worries. Last you one is a mirage over something that is simply non-existent or over-hype (for example a 30 yr old rig that is packaged to be a growth engine).

Can anyone advise why I cant seem to find Kuok's name in the list of PCRT shareholders on the offer document? I thought that he has amassed some stake in it? Is it part of the PREH holdings?

PERENNIAL Real Estate Holdings Limited (PREHL) has announced its firm intention to make a voluntary conditional offer to acquire the remaining units in Perennial China Retail Trust (PCRT) in exchange for PREHL shares.

Unitholders will be offered S$0.70 for each PCRT unit

Will we get a higher offer if we hold out, like CMA? Huh

They are giving u a chance to do as the tycoons do
This is a superb deal for PCRT holders in my opinion. They reaped the full benefits of the earn out deeds and get a saving grace from this takeover given that the well is going dry.

PREH is backed by prominent players and I believe that in the long run, the towkays will realize the value again by spinning off the mature assets into a Reit. Just wait and see.
sweet deal for those with holding power.
Seems like massive dumping ongoing at PCRT around 53.5c
