Welcome, welcome.
Hi all, been a lurker since I fortuitously stumbled into the Wallstraits forum a few years back. Been learning since then from the very enlightening posts albeit there were some sporadic squabbles hehe.

Thot the end of Afralug was the end of the ride. Yet, the forum lives again! Found it through MW's website(nice one btw) Smile
Pity the vast knowledge cache from the previous forums cannot be salvaged.

Anyways, I look forward to learning more, perhaps ask some silly questions along the way. And I hope that this forum will not share the fate of the previous two. If there's a call for donations again, I shall gladly contribute.

Happy holidays to all and may we have a prosperous new year Big Grin

Hi Satchmo, welcome back. We all hope that the forum can last very long. With the support of all members, I think it will.

Hi Satchmo,

Thanks, hope you can stay long here and contribute your thoughts and comments, we'd love to hear them!

Yes it's sad and a pity that the previous vast wealth of knowledge was lost forever. There seems to be no way to retrieve that even though I tried.

With Cyclone as Admin, you don't have to worry about the forum going down often. I can tell you he's very hardworking and will ensure that there is at least a backup in case the forum goes down, so that the valuable data here is not lost again.

Happy Holidays to you too! Smile

Hi everyone,

Chanced upon this forum and realized how beneficial it is. Thanks to all active contributors!

I'm a total newbie in investing and hope to gain some useful insight for my future plans. Have tried reading up on some stuff but still much more to learn. Don't think I can contribute much compared to many more here who are more experienced but I'm glad I will be starting somewhere.

Looking forward to more useful discussions!
