hi all, i'm new here, used to visit the previous forums but never participated in the discussions.
thought i'd drop by and say that i'm glad we have a place to come to again!

i'm a relatively new investor with just a year or two of dabbling in equities, and a lack of time and commitment to the cause, haha. hope to learn more and get inspired by the community here to put more effort into learning and growing the pile.

As of today, I am pleased to announce our 200th member - iff. Value Buddies has grown from strength to strength since it was started more than 2 months ago.

Hi,

Was a keen follower of Wallstraits whenever i got into the market. Went back after a while to find Afralug and subsequently its quick demise. Although i have been a relatively passive follower, i want to voice my support to this forum and my thanks especially to Musicwhiz, Cyclone, dydx, d.o.g. and quite a few others who have contributed so much to the forum and value added to discussions. Like others, i also recall a few other significant missing voices from Wallstraits such as lark, millionairemind, tankie who contributed variations in points of view. Even though the well articulated positions put up may not always be strictly value investing, they added wonderful richness and logic to the discussions. Much different to what i found at CNA and elsewhere.

My own attention to investing is sporadic, having to balance with opportunities available and other distractions. I will try to contribute my 2 cents worth, and hope its value added
