Some comments:

1. Marissa Lee wins an award for her story on Isetan's undervaluation vis-a-vis the board's ineptitude. Her bigger story is probably the one on Best World, but I guess the jury is still out there, so that can't be the winning entry. I was wondering though, does she own Isetan shares?

2. Ben Paul wins an award for his opinion piece on how corporate boards and directors can be more like Warren Buffet. Particularly, WB's integrity and candour towards shareholders. Ben and Marissa's award seem to suggest that SGX would like to see more shareholder-friendly behaviour towards minorities. Maybe there should be some incentive structure to reward shareholder-friendly companies.

3. https://dollarsandsense.sg/ won the 'GoTo.com' award. Why not VB?  Rolleyes

Definitely, Marissa Lee is really cool. I think she is as cool as Boon.

Item #3. Yes. I always think that VB has all the right ingredients to get an award...

if Valuebuddies got the award, at least all members could put a face to the Cyclone name. Looking forward to it haha

Need to go and apply one. Not sure if cyclone did it or not? Maybe someone here can remind him next year?
