Wow! That's quite a surprise! So MBT's out of the cabinet. Is this going to signal a change in housing policies, I wonder? WKS too. IMO, Tharman is one of the more promising ministers that I can see. Composed and a good orator, now minister of Finance and Manpower. Good potential as future PM, imho. Looks like it's a whole new look PAP coming about... With WKS, MBT, GCT and LKY all leaving, does that signal a change in policy formation as well? Never quite expected the changes to be this rapid. Am glad I'm around to witness this new guard taking over the reins. Whether or not they can measure up to the task is another issue altogether. i'm living in Interesting Times! TongueBig Grin
It was already announced some time back that MBT will not be in the new Cabinet, so no surprises there.

As for WKS and Raymond Lim, I think we all know very well why they are not in the new Cabinet. WKS for Mas Selamat, and Raymond Lim for screwing up the vehicle population growth.

I see. Thanks for the clarification, MW. I must have been out of the loop for quite awhile. Wasn't aware that His exclusion had already been announced.
Hurray and rejoice! Good riddance MBT. Now let's wait for property market to crash and burn in 2014 due to oversupply. And then we will see minister khaw getting the crap this time. Haha
Hope they don't just change the bottle but not the wine.

Bro, dun have to wait until 2014......2012 sure dive 1, (not crash, i have to clarify first) mark my words.

Khaw cooling measure will be totally different from Maboro tan, hehe.
The three exit from cabinet clearly signal that PAP govt was wrong in its housing, transport, immigration and security policy. The PAP is making right what is wrong, as promised by PM LHL. I really welcome these changes.

With Khaw now in charge of housing, I believe housing price will see some correction. I remember that not long after he took over as health minister, he made every clinics and hospital publish their charges.
