From 1 November 2019, CHAS will be enhanced in three ways:
- With a new CHAS green tier, CHAS will be extended to cover all Singaporeans for chronic conditions, regardless of income
- Subsidies for complex chronic conditions will be increased
- CHAS Orange cardholders will receive subsidies for common illnesses
