Challenger is decisive. They cut losses or unprofitable businesses. They will be closing operations of a few stores in Singapore in the next quarter as well. But opening new ones in new areas. Re strategize for the road ahead

I am one of them still holding it. The review is still on-going for me. IMO, it is too early to call the shot, before the first result of Valore concept stores...

Congrat for the good ROI

It looks like there are quite many real long term investors/shareholders here! No wonder this counter is so illiquid!
bought and held since the 28cents days
I am still vested.

Initially I was a little skeptical but I am little more confident now that I think I know how they are going to boost their revenue.

I was on their roadshows, and I realized that there are a lot of old aunties and old uncles at their roadshow. They were all attracted by the well designed and affordable Valore's powerbanks. These roadshows are a good way to bring awareness to the elderly, who do not usually patronise Challenger stores.

I can see that Challenger is expanding their customer base by targeting another group of consumer - those who do not patronise IT shops. If each promoter is able to lock these customers in by asking them to sign up for a membership, we should start seeing better results.
Keep for 4% dividend also shiok. With constant earnings and potential growth with them expanding so much within the past one year. Will wait for another 2-4quarters to see the results. Haha

I'm also one of those who have stubbornly held on for so many years. Looking at how actively the management has been rationalising their stores and also attempting to gain market share with the Valore range of products, I rest easy for now. I'm not a businessman. Hence I'm somewhat more assured when i see that the guardians of the business I'm vested in take an active and prudent role in monitoring and growing the business. Not a buy or sell call.
One more Valore Concept Store in Parkway Parade.
