With current market price run-up, it became the 2nd most profitable investment in my equity portfolio now, after M1... Big Grin
Since listing in Jan04 - i.e. coming to 10 years now! - Challenger's share price really only started out-performing the STI convincingly some 4 years ago (i.e. from Aug09 onwards).....
http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=573.S...=undefined;
During this period, share price wise - i.e. not counting the regular twice-a-year dividends - and based on the last done share price of $0.59 this morning, Challenger has out-performed the STI by a whopping over 200%!

Based on Challenger's latest outstanding 345.208m issued shares, present market cap stands at $203.7m. Is this too high for the leading and largest IT retail chain stores in Singapore - and hopefully over time the leading IT retail chain stores in West Malaysia as well ?
when it is compared to courts and harvey norman, challenger still looks damn cheap! It produces consistent results, consistency is very important for a conservative investor like me

which is then yr 1st most profitable counter

haha read read carefully
congrats to those who believed in challenger
Last time I told my friends about challenger and they kept laughing at me
they say sim lim will own challenger gao gao and I'm wasting my time and money with challenger
now guess who has the last laugh ^^

anyway challenger could earn about 5 cents per share this year
if the stock price goes to 60 cents that would be about 12 times earnings
at 12x I think challenger could be fairly priced already, however market may price it as high as 15 times earnings for 75 cents
we shall see, good luck guys ^^
