Double-masters degree did not do this woman much good, as she lacked financial intelligence! The report did not say which casino, but I suspect it may be MBS or RWS.

Woman loses $100,300 in casino to win back $209

A SINGAPOREAN lost RM240,000 (S$100,290) at a casino when she tried to win back the RM500 she had previously lost, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The woman, who is a professional with a double master's degree, said she tried to win the money back by using all her savings as well as borrowing from others.

She is now looking for someone to give her a loan to pay off her debts as she does not dare disclose it to her family.

'I am worried that my husband may divorce me if he finds out,' she said. -- THE STAR/ANN
RM240,000. Looks like it's in Genting.

How does anyone lose $100k? No idea what cut-loss is obviously.
She must be from a wealthy family . I just cannot imagine an unaccompanied housewife walking into a Casino with RM240K in her handbag just to win RM 500. But the lesson from this woman's loss is to invest in Genting.

Is this the right time to buy Genting shares ?
