WANDERVALE, the first executive condominium (EC) to be launched this year, has received more than 400 e-applications as at Sunday, BT understands. This is about three-quarters of the total 534 units available.

The project features 130 three-bedroom units, 322 three-bedroom premium units, and 82 four-bedroom units ranging from 958-1,249 square feet across nine residential blocks. Sources indicate that the most popular configurations are the three bedroom premium and four bedroom units. Upcoming executive condo include and Parc Life EC while existing ones include The Terrace ECBrownstone EC, Waterwoods EC, Signature at Yishun, Skypark Residences, The Vales EC, The Criterion EC, Bellewaters EC, Bellewoods EC.

The project is priced at S$750 to S$770 per square foot on average.

In a separate statement issued by Sim Lian, Eugene Lim, key executive officer, ERA Realty Network, said: "Wandervale EC has seen strong interest since its launch and represents clear value to homebuyers. For this development, both location and the project design have proven to be attractive to applicants.

Many potential buyers indicated they have been attracted to the spacious layout, its proximity to the MRT, amenities and schools around the area."

Both ERA and OrangeTee have been appointed joint marketing agents for the project.

Wandervale is located within walking distance to Choa Chu Kang MRT station and bus interchange. In addition, residents will enjoy a one-year complimentary shuttle bus service to the upcoming Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub.

And with the newly opened Downtown Line 2, travel time between Bukit Panjang and Bugis has been cut, from 50 minutes to half an hour.

The Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub will be the ninth of its kind in Singapore and will also be integrated with Hillion Mall which is expected to obtain its Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) in the first half of 2017.

The 99-year leasehold Wandervale is scheduled to receive its TOP by 2019.

Kuik Sing Beng, executive director, Sim Lian Group, said: "Wandervale is the first executive condominium to be launched this year, and we have received positive response to the project thus far . . . We are confident that Wandervale is an attractive proposition for young families and HDB upgraders in Singapore."

Sim Lian Group launched the project on Feb 18; the application period is till Feb 28. The balloting and booking date is on March 5.

Other projects that are expected to launch in the coming weeks include condominiums The Wisteria and Sturdee Residences, and The Visionaire executive condominium.
