CES result far exceeded my expectation.
EPS - 44 cents!!!
NAV ~ 117 cents!!!
Dividends = 6 cents.
Think many analysts need to "re-write" their reports...

Oh, that depends what price you bought into this stock; obviously not at today's price! With so much bad news around, I am just happy to celebrate for this one.
I bought ave px of 87.5
I think 1.14 is the fair value for now. Hope it can go there. Got some 3k div is not bad too for a small position.

Just remember , there are no absolute right and wrong.
But try not to have too many wrong, cause this means we lose money.
If this CES is listed in NYSE, I think it easily soar 10%, 20% to 30% within the day after such an excellent result. But in SGX, it seen like nobody business.
Investor there are only interested in revenue and profit, but less of gearing.
1. As CES builds up its portfolio of investment properties boosted by recurring income from its maiden hotel, the share price will become more aligned with its RNAV at $1.70 (still very conservative)
2. To date, a lot of investors and analysts have discounted the developments in Australia. Doncaster project has been launched and Victoria mega piece of land is in the midst of being divested (tender will close end March 2015). All these developments will only throw in more EPS surprises to the upside..

The construction of the Group’s first hotel along Alexandra Road (to be known as Park Hotel Alexandra) is progressing well and is slated for completion in mid-2015. The key management team has been formed and we are now on the recruitment drive to fill the managerial and operational positions. Targeted at both business and leisure travellers, revenue from this 4-star hotel will form a base of recurring income for the Group.
ces PE now is 2.19 base on 44.07c eps. If this is trading like Lian Beng at PE 3.7
then this one should be 1.63..
what will be the price tomorrow. Anyone here can guess???
I paste this from sharejunction, Base on the eps of 44.07 divided by the closing price of 0.965, it give a PE of 2.19
If it is trade like Lian Beng, then it is 1.63, if the PE is 3.7 like Lian Beng.
But I think tomorrow open will be at 1.02/1.10 my guess.
$1.10 level should be breached easily.
Should be able to reach $1.20 - $1.30 in the few weeks that follow.
On hindsight, company was right to buy back 9.1mil of shares at ave price of 88 cents
I suspect there should be another
major round of share buyback again ahead of the TOP of the Alex Hotel.
