Sure, selling out and exiting a business in a GO has its benefits eg risk reduction, redeployment of cash, etc.

But the price has to be right and fair to both selller and buyer, in order to make it a fair deal.

For sure i would like a high price exit however as mention in my earlier post its hard to achieve such valuations in SGX... Previously the owners were unwilling to let other firms do DD on it

Based on my reading of the releases at that time, the owners gave the justification that the PE firm wanting to do DD was the owner of a competitor (Innovalues).

But that will not always be the case for every potential buyer.

Yea but if the owners are willing to sell out they should let a prospective buyer do their DD (maybe withhold some sensitive information such as their key customer account name).

All I can say is that almost anything is for sale if the price is right.
AR was released 2 days ago but just notice it today... Looking through the top 20 shareholder list, 2 new addition, Wee wei ling & husband.
AGM only took 15 mins! But i'm glad my question was answered in the statement release by the board. Though it was a typical textbook answer.
1H results should be out anytime within the next 1 week...

spindex don't provide any dates for their results announcement...

would expect another strong half of FCF
1H results. Excellent 53.1% increase in profit after tax. Quite a contrast to the Avi-tech results.

Management cited because of WFH, people started buying new consumer goods thus the increase in revenue.

The lower material price environment during the initial pandemic period help to drive profitability.
Notwithstanding the good results and rise in share price, the market still can't seem to price this close to fair intrinsic value.

Come on Mr Market, bid it up. Don't you see how much more this counter is worth? Smile

hi seventyTimesSeven,

I believe you can do better than the posting as above.

VBs strive to be different and if you believe a company (or in your words "counter") is under valued,  I would recommend you to back up with some quantitative assessments. This will value add towards a more meaningful discussion.

Hi,

My apologies... maybe I got too carried away and wanted to just express some of my emotions. I understand that is not a very value investing thing.... will try to do better.
