SOMETHING IS DEFINATELY BREWING!! Big Grin
"The Group expects operating lease expenses (rental) and labour and raw material costs to remain high in the
next reporting period and the next 12 months, and believes that the labour market will continue to remain
tight."

1.5cts dividends lah! Big Grin
Fairly valued in my view for a 20x pe and 20 x p/fcf compan. No doubt it has a brand moat but 20 times is just a bit right considering all the factors
anyone went to AGM yesterday? please provide updates if possible! thank u! Big Grin

That moat is now being attacked by Tip Top.

I am a curry puff lover, and have tried many kinds of curry puff in Singapore. OCK is not the best, but certainly one of the better ones around. However, they have the most extensive distribution network among all the curry puff vendors. If I have a craving to eat curry puff, I won’t want to travel a great distance just to satisfy my craving. I can easily get one from OCK in a nearby mall. I cannot remember how many times I have patronize OCK, but I can remember very clearly I bought 2 times from Tip Top so far.

A successful business is a combination of many factors at play: products, brands, distribution network, technology, system etc….
just for infor......

Tip Top in Ang Mo Kio is now owned by ABR so probably with the financial muscle they can set up more branches to compete with OCK

The old sifu in the original AMK store left and is now working in the curry puff store in Toa Payoh.

But sometimes I don't feel like paying $1.30 for a curry puff so I walk for a short distance to Tiong Bahru Bao near HDB hub and get $0.90 curry puffs.....
