I would like to attend but sadly I am not resident in Singapore.

If any VB members attend , please post a summary of any important points for out of class learning.

Ok, I just came across this from Capital dynamics. Tan Teng Boo is conducting a one day seminar on 9 May.

http://capitaldynamics.biz/seminar2015/

It is held in KL. At only RM299 early bird price for a full day session, I think it is well worth it if you can afford the time. Note that this price is only available to members but there is a special 25th anniversary promotion going on now so you can just sign up a a full year membership for just RM25/year. Much better value than any of the so called value investing courses conducted by some inexperienced chaps in Singapore.

Note: I am not vested. Just helping to recommend what I feel are good, value for money seminars.
Attended Dr Tee Tong Yan's EIN55 5 days course and while it is useful to learn about his optimism scale, throughout the course, he always try to promote his other stuff like subscribing to his new software and his coaching sessions after this 5 days course. Too much hard sell. He could have done all these "promotion and advertisement" during break after class and not promote during class time. A lot of time has been spent on this and it's a turned off. We wake up at 6-7am on a Saturday morning or came here 6pm on weekday lessons NOT TO HEAR YOU PROMOTE YOUR STUFF. Dr Tee kept repeating that his time is very precious and got no time for one to one question he waste SO MUCH TIME TO DO PROMOTING! Unprofessional. I do not recommend his course.
Jialat. Just like going tours to PRC and TW, tour guides will brainwash
on bus until you reached those shops. Hahaha.
Go visit the different reviews through sgx, I went to Dr Tees 5-Day course ($1200) and his 5 months coaching ($800), the 5 days course teaches you how to buy stock cheaply and the coaching teaches you the traditional investing and trading methods.

Thought I agree on valueinvestor's point, keep promoting stuff -.-" but for the course is still very solid
