Mr Subhas reminds me of the Tiger of Jelutong, the late Mr Karpal Singh. Both were colorful personalities and larger than life. Both fought unconventionally and were tenacious in taking on cases (in Mr Karpal Singh's case, death-row convicts under the ISA in the 1960/70s) that goes against the grain of society at their time. In investing terms, they would make the true contrarian.

I would like to add-on with the following quote from Attorney-General, Mr. V K Rajah.

“All in all, he was a lawyer with a good head, a big heart and an uncommon touch. The legal community will miss him,” said Mr Rajah.
