Hello forum members!

This post is my first on the forum, and as a young curious investor myself I have lots to learn and many questions to ask.

I'm a 19 YO college student and a business owner, and I've recently heard about the whole compound interest concept of investing. I am looking to get started in such investing but have no idea where to start.

I know that banks operate in this manner, but their returns on savings are petit today with low interest maybe 1%.

What kind of investments yield compound interest returns? Mutual bonds? IRAs? Any info is helpful!

Thank you

First of all, a warm welcome to VB.

I have moved the thread to a more appropriate location.

I suggest a start to read good books. You can refer to "Interesting Books" section for those good books.

Wish you all the best for your learning.
