If it is JE, we can foresee something like an underground terminal like the West Kowloon CRH terminal.

4 underground levels and 2 levels above ground. Impressive fact is the tracks in HK (26km in total) are all tunneled underground!
I am guessing Jurong East.

I wouldn't like the location of the high speed train to be in Tuas because it is too far from practically all the urban centres in Singapore. High speed train not very useful it is is poorly connected to other public transport services that can bring you quickly to most parts of the island. Tuas is inconvenient to most places, even though there is lots of land in Tuas.

My guess is Jurong East. Deep underground.
i tend to agree JE. A compromise between City and Tuas. Besides Singapore still must make some money from connection to the HST ma from the tourists.
Why stop at one. Build it all the way to Changi and have one stop in JE, City and Changi. Tunnel along AYE/ECP. Double it up as an express link between the three points for commuting during weekday peak period as well. The frequency for KL-SG will be low anyway so don't waste the capacity.

This part I am not sure. Not an engineer but Jurong is known for the rock formations and hence the ammo dump and LNG storage is built deep underground for those reasons.

I would also hazard a guess that the train depot might be sited on the Malaysian side instead of Singapore due to the lack of space.
